General purpose:
Top provide advisement for User Experience Design (UXD) graduate students and to convey knowledge and guidance from a professional perspective over the course of the program. This position will lead group advisement sessions with students which take place between their forcredit courses (approx. once every 8 weeks). During these sessions the capstone advisor will lead workshopstyle activities and discussions designed to support students as they develop their capstone projects (approx. 2 hours/group session). The capstone advisor will also be available to mentor or meet with students occasionally outside of the advisement sessions (approx. 1 hour/week total). The capstone advisor serves students for the 15month duration of the program.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of User Experience Design (UXD) subject matter
Minimum qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field plus proven/relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a related fieldplus proven/relevant experience.
