You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Admissions Advisor plays a key role in recruiting advising and enrolling prospective students. This position guides applicants through the admissions process provides accurate information about programs and requirements and helps students make informed decisions about their educational goals. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students throughout the admissions process.
Conduct interviews campus tours (if applicable) and virtual or in-person information sessions.
Provide clear and accurate information about programs admission requirements financial aid options and application deadlines.
Evaluate prospective students qualifications and assist them with application and enrollment paperwork.
Maintain accurate records of all applicant interactions in the admissions database.
Follow up with prospective students via phone email and other communication channels to encourage enrollment.
Collaborate with marketing teams to support outreach and recruitment campaigns.
Attend recruitment events college fairs and community events as needed.
Work closely with academic departments and student services to ensure a smooth transition from applicant to enrolled student.
Meet or exceed enrollment goals and contribute to the achievement of the institutions recruitment targets.
Bachelors degree in Education Business Communications or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in admissions student advising or a customer service role (preferably in higher education).
Strong knowledge of admissions policies enrollment procedures and financial aid basics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to work evenings or weekends for recruitment events if required.
