Marketing Manager
Murphy Hospitality Group has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our worldclass team of marketing professionals. Based in our Charlottetown PEI Head Office the Marketing Manager is focused on our MHG Hotels and Restaurant divisions. This leadership position is responsible for working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to guide marketing business plans strategies and communications. The Marketing Manager will work with MHGs hotel and restaurant operational leaders to plan and execute marketing strategies.
As the Marketing Manager You Will
- Work with the Chief Marketing Officer to develop business plans strategies and initiatives
- Provide leadership and expertise to manage and develop company brands working with operational managers to plan and execute their marketing efforts
- Oversee project workflow; including communication with external stakeholders and internal team members key information from project initiation to completion and results
- Manage Digital Campaigns (e.g. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Google Analytics Tradable Bits etc. managing relationships with partners reporting on web traffic etc.
- Oversee Website builds and changes including copywriting managing requests coordinating flow making recommendations collaborate with vendors and partners (e.g. Web developers)
- Oversee the development and maintenance of Newsletters including copywriting managing content managing the user journey etc.
- Oversee Influencer Campaigns and Events including the identification of potential partnerships negotiate contracts coordinate scheduling etc.
- Providing direction for and collaborating with creative team (graphic designers photographer/videographer web developer social media team)
- Aid in the planning and executing of company events and promotional campaigns
- Monitor evaluate and report on marketing programs and promotions to assess results vs. desired outcomes

What Youll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in marketing including website and digital advertising
- Demonstrated experience in creative and technical writing
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous hospitality experience considered an asset
- 5 years experience in a marketing role
