Responsible for project implementation and support of key objectives to drive enhancements in supply chain. The role will involve a variety of financial nonnursing functions around supply chain management for patient care and clinical procedural areas. This position will play a key role in overcoming operational challenges through establishing and implementing sustainable practices that elevate the performance of the institutions supply chain to match clinical quality with fiscal accountability under the direction of Sr. Director of Supply chain at SEMC.
Must have the ability to lead a project from inception to completion while documenting milestones and challenges; ability to report key results to leaders clearly and effectively.
Essential duties:
Education and Experience
HS Diploma plus 3 5 plus years experience in medical supply chain. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Strong customer service skills along with computer experience with word excel and Prefer Lawson/information systems
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment who is highly organized with problem solving skills and who is sensitive to requests and demands to meet our patient needs
Demonstrates professional personal behavior and courteous interactions with all they encounter respecting diversity of patient/customer population (age culture)
Special Working Conditions
Ability to physically move supplies uboats bins etc. througout the facility as needed and also receive calls off shift for questions on location of supplies or issues relating to obtaining them
