Open Application for Adjunct Faculty
American International University Kuwait City
American International University (AIU) Kuwait invites open applications for adjunct faculty positions across various schools for theacademic year. We are looking for passionate educators to teach undergraduate courses in the following areas:
School of Engineering and Computing:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical & Computer Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science
Position Overview:
Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for teaching courses in their respective disciplines assisting with course development and contributing to the academic growth of AIUs students. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted when opportunities that match their qualifications and expertise become available.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher (Ph.D. preferred for some subjects) in the relevant field.
- Proficient communication skills in English.
- University teaching experience in the subject matter.
- Industry experience in the teaching field.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Teach up to two courses 6 credit hours) per semester.
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to students.
- Collaborate with faculty in curriculum development.
- Actively contribute to the intellectual and cultural growth of AIUs academic community.
