Job Description

EMS Thin Metal Parts LLC has an exciting career opportunity for a 1st shift Etch Metal Prep Operator in Colorado Springs! We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Summary: Prepare and process chemical etch equipment to produce parts for customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operation of chemical etch equipment.
  • Inprocess measurement of parts using a micrometer or drop gauge.
  • Resist strip parts.
  • Transfer of chemicals to and from etch area.
  • General maintenance of etch equipment and housecleaning of all areas.
  • Perform etchant change outs.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Metal prep.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Other Considerations:

  • Basic PC skills.
  • Able to read blueprints/drawings and extract data to help etch parts is a plus.
  • Able to use a precision measuring microscope is a plus.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Familiar with chemicals is a plus.
  • Can do and positive attitude.
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
