About Glyphic:

At Glyphic Biotechnologies we plan to create the protein revolution for which scientists and researchers have been waiting. We are developing a massively parallel singlemolecule proteome sequencing platform that will transform life science discovery and usher in a new era of insights into human biology and disease. To date we have raised >$50M from venture partners and nondilutive grant funding to achieve our vision of next generation proteome sequencing.

What we are looking for in you:

We are seeking a dynamic highly motivated individual to serve as Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role demands a combination of strategic competence (e.g. ability to tactfully interact with executives investors and strategic partners) and highly efficient task management (e.g. organizing documents managing priorities and action items note taking personal tasks for the CEO). The ideal candidate can stretch themselves from strategic partner to lunch coordinator in service of the organization. This role provides an opportunity to familiarize yourself with all aspects of an early stage biotechnology startup. The CEO is extremely highvelocity with nontraditional work hours this candidate will need to keep pace with the activities of the CEO such as after traditional working hours and on weekends. Because of the technical nature of our business a strong background in biology or chemistrypreferably with an advanced degreewill be essential to be successful in this role.

In this role youll be at the intersection of strategic decisionmaking and directly influencing the companys growth trajectory. Working closely with seasoned executives youll gain valuable exposure to diverse business operations and develop critical skills across both strategic and operational domains. Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with executive leadership to drive key business initiatives from planning through actively identifying potential challenges (e.g. team dynamics scheduling conflicts resource constraints) and proposing solutions. Over time develop the ability to contribute as a thought partner in critical discussions around strategy goalsetting and organizational direction.

  • Serve as the CEOs primary support in managing urgent often ambiguously prioritized tasks ensuring clarity and . Assess incoming requests negotiate timelines prioritize effectively and drive completion or delegationoften coordinating crossfunctionally with key stakeholders (e.g. completing tasks for investors or strategic partners managing board materials preparation).

  • Directly support the CEO by managing and optimizing their calendar reducing reactive scheduling and proactively planning the best use of time. Oversee timely email followups investor and strategic partner engagements and general task management ensuring efficient prioritization and .

  • Coordinate complex meeting schedules for internal and external stakeholders including executives and crossfunctional teams. Own the organization of executive team meetings managing agendas capturing action items and ensuring timely followups.

  • Prepare polished wellorganized briefing materials and presentations for internal and external audiences ensuring clarity effectiveness visual appeal and attention to detail.

  • Perform ad hoc analyses and refine business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage datadriven insights to inform decisions ensuring accuracy in both data collection and analysis.

  • Organize corporate events and executive offsites with a focus on fostering a strong company culture while aligning with strategic objectives to drive organizational success.

  • Represent the organization at external events as needed enabling leadership to focus on higherimpact engagements.

Required Competencies:

  • Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D. in a physics biology or chemistry (or closely related field) strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrable experience applying scientific knowledge in a startup or highgrowth environment.

  • 2 years of experience as a Chief of Staff investment banking management consulting or in a similar role.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple timesensitive projects in a fastpaced ambiguous environment.

  • Ability to understand bigpicture goals and break them down into actionable steps.

  • Exceptional aptitude for triaging delegating and keeping projects on track.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills capable of building strong relationships and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Moderately sophisticated IT competence; comfortable leveraging modern project management tools and platforms.

  • Strong analytical emotional and social intelligence to navigate complex team dynamics and external partnerships.

  • Willingness to operate with urgency be resourceful and maintain flexibility in an evolving environment.

  • Ready to roll up sleeves and handle tasks that range from highlevel strategy to daytoday logistics.

  • Seeking mentorship (not fundamental skills training); able to add value in week one.

  • Willing to stretch beyond traditional work hours when needed given the nature of startup demands.
