Geisinger Eye Institute has openingsto join their wellestablished practice with multispecialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Opportunities to develop a program perform research and teach residents in a large tertiary referral center.

Our practice:

• Advanced technologies in diagnostic FA Fundus Camera HVF Goldman Field IOL Master Immersion OCT Pachymetry and Topography
• Treatment options including SLT Laser YAG Laser Argon Laser
• Geisinger owned surgical facilities on main campus and nearby outpatient surgery center
• Residency within our program
• Support from Advance Practitioners
• Clinics have over 50 exam rooms
• Shared call (home call)
• A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices

Position Details:

An ophthalmologist has the knowledge and professional skills needed to provide comprehensive eye and vision care. Ophthalmologists are medically trained to diagnose monitor and medically or surgically treat all ocular and visual disorders. This includes problems affecting the eye and its component structures the eyelids the orbit and the visual pathways.
