You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry Division of Neurology and General Internal Medicine in partnership with Alberta Health Services invites applications for a General Internist to be based at the University of Alberta Hospital. Located in Edmonton Alberta Canada the Faculty has been internationally recognized as among the worlds top 50 medical schools and as one of Canadas premier healtheducation institutions.
This position is a 1year LOCUM to cover a minimum of 6 weeks of inpatient service on the Neuromedicine service. While on service the attending physician will be responsible for caring for around 20 patients admitted under their care. Furthermore the physician will provide consultation services on Neurosciences patients and when appropriate take over care of these patients. More weeks of service are likely to become available so the applicant might have the opportunity to cover more weeks of service if desired.

The successful candidate will have an MD degree and hold an FRCPC certification in General Internal Medicine. The applicant must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
