Job Description

The Sales Development Representative role will support the Device42 sales team a company recently acquired by Freshworks in June 2024. Device42 offers a powerful realtime view of an organizations IT infrastructure ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all assets. With the integration of Freshservice and Device42 Freshworks now provides a robust IT solution featuring enhanced IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities. This combined offering allows us to deliver even greater value to our customers streamlining their IT management and optimizing business performance.

As an SDR (Sales Development Representative) at Device42 your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage with potential users and buyers of our software through phone calls and email outreach. Youll be tasked with uncovering sales opportunities and scheduling qualified meetings for the Account Executives across your assigned territories. By leveraging both new and existing lead sources youll develop relationships with prospects understanding their current and future initiatives and qualifying them to create a strong pipeline of sales opportunities. 

What youll do: 

  • Upon receipt of inbound leads perform the necessary qualification to create followup meetings for the sales organization
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling and other prospecting techniques to a targeted database and effectively transition them into strong sales opportunities for the external sales team
  • Understand and effectively communicate the Device42 value proposition and targeted message
  • Maintain an awareness of accounts and industries as part of general prospecting practices
  • Proactively and effectively utilize CRM tool
  • Meet or exceed assigned targets while adhering to all company requirements

Qualifications :

  • 02 years experience in sales marketing administrative role or relevant experience 
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas against targets
  • Dynamic highenergy selfmotivated 
  • Ability to be articulate confident and a personable team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience producing high daily call volume
  • Proven proactive selfstarter with the capability to take ownership and work effectively within assigned campaigns with a limited amount of management supervision
  • Ability to operate in a highly driven environment


Additional Information :

This role is based in the Greater Boston Area and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of jobrelated factors such as professional background training work experience business needs and market demand. Therefore in some circumstances the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for variable compensation. 

Compensation Package

$60000 $70000 base salary variable compensation
