Carpenter

We are looking for electricians to join our team in London and Greater London!

Find an Expert is a platform where we connect service providers with customers. Jobs will be provided through the app based on your own postcode and you will have the flexibility to to accept or reject jobs.

The role will involve attending prebooked customer appointments to efficiently undertake a variety of carpentry tasks ranging from fixing lights and switches heating and cooling fire alarms to new fuse box rewiring or appliance installation.

Flexible working hours and immediate start positions available.

Responsibilities

• Building foundations installing floor beams laying subflooring and installing walls and roofing systems
• Fitting and installing trim doors stairs moulding and hardware
• Measuring cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes
• Repairing and renovating wooden structures
• Reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and sketches

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Solid understanding in residential commercial and industrial buildings
• Working knowledge of carpentry tools
• Ability to handle carpentry tools and equipment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
• Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
• Valid license to practice the profession
