Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python SQL and API Integration with experience working with Google APIs. As a Backend Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing maintaining and optimizing our backend services and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Design develop and maintain robust and scalable backend systems
using Python. Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to optimize performance.
Database Management: Develop and manage SQL databases including schema design query optimization and data integrity.
API Integration: Create and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and external services. Ensure APIs are secure efficient and welldocumented.
Google APIs & GCP: Utilize Google APIs to enhance application functionality and leverage GCP services for cloudbased solutions including compute storage and database management.
Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver highquality solutions.
Code Quality: Write clean maintainable and welldocumented code. Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks bugs and
issues. Continuously monitor and optimize system performance.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for backend systems APIs and
processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python for backend development.
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Handson experience with Google APIs and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Experience:
2 years of experience in backend development with a focus on Python SQL and REST APIs.
Demonstrated experience working with Google APIs and GCP services.
Proven track record of delivering scalable and reliable backend systems.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive attitude.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Proven ability to multitask in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
