The IT Support Administrator provides comprehensive technical support to endusers across Eagle County addressing complex PC connectivity and telecommunications issues both onsite and remotely. This role involves configuring and deploying hardware assisting with software installations and updates troubleshooting mobile devices and network connectivity and providing user training.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT support excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to nontechnical users. They will also be responsible for helping to maintain system security managing user accounts and contributing to process improvement initiatives. This position requires a proactive problemsolver with a commitment to continuous learning and a dedication to serving the community through reliable and efficient IT support.
Schedule: MondayFriday 8am5pm Onsite.

Essential Duties:
- Provides excellent customer service by performing onsite & remote analysis diagnosis and resolution of complex PC connectivity and telecoms troubleshooting problems for end users.
- Recommends and implements corrective solutions including onsite repair and offsite for remote users
- Analyze customer needs and provide the appropriate solution. This includes but is not limited to break/fix suggesting new applications/hardware/processes and/or training users on tools that are already available.
- Configure and deploy desktops laptops monitors and related peripherals operating to endusers.
- Installs monitors and reports on software including operating system applications and patching.
- Provide ongoing hardware and software maintenance and troubleshooting to Eagle Countys computing infrastructure including conference room technology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mobile computing and communications device issues e.g. smartphones and tablets.
- Serves as first responder to userlevel account/hardware security incidents. Contains incident and delegates and escalates appropriately.
- Assist in managing thirdparty enterprise applications and access.
- Create and terminate user accounts.
- Provide layer 1 & 2 network troubleshooting.
- Assist in VoIP system troubleshooting and moves adds & changes.
- Assist with inventory management and device tracking.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities by automating manual tasks and suggesting process changes within the IT department and other departments.
- Develop documentation help sheets and FAQ lists for end users.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next Tier within established timeframes.
- Supports network printing and multifunction devices
- Proactively runs and reviews security reports and takes appropriate action
- Observes safety and security procedures uses equipment and materials safely and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
- Serves the community by demonstrating Eagle County Government mission and core values and following relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of related IT enduser/desktop support education training or experience is required which produces the required knowledge skills and abilities though 3 years of experience is helpful.
- Certifications in Google Microsoft Cisco CompTIA and other technologyrelated certifications are a plus.
- Experience supporting computer hardware including desktop computers laptops hardware and peripherals Microsoft desktop operating systems Office applications and Chrome OS devices is preferred.
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory motor vehicle record required. This position will be expected to travel to our various locations throughout the Eagle River Valley and Roaring Fork Valley to support our teams.
- Must be able to pass a background check for Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) and Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) access.
