Auberle has evolved into a premier multiservice agency with programs spanning Workforce Development Housing Foster Care Young Adult Services and Behavioral Health. Auberles mission is to help build strong individuals families and communities.
In 2019 Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department.
Program Description:
Foster Care Program is located at main campus in McKeesport with work throughout Allegheny and neighboring counties where resource homes are located and children & young people served are from. Work in this program plays a crucial role in the lives of children and families offering support and ensuring the best possible outcomes for all parties involved. Foster care programs work diligently to make sure that children in the foster care system receive the care stability and guidance they need to thrive. This work is more than just a job; its a calling to make a profound impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families. This pivotal role involves advocating for the wellbeing of children placed in resource homes working closely with natural and resource families to create a safe nurturing and supportive environment. As a foster care worker you will have the opportunity to guide and support children through challenging transitions ensuring they receive the care stability and opportunities they need to thrive.
Position Title and Overview:
Case Manager
Connect develop and maintain a strong trusting relationship with the families served and children & young people placed to foster engagement and support growth.
Conduct regular home visits to monitor the childs progress and wellbeing
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Coordinate with natural families resource families and other service providers to promote open communication collaboration and to ensure comprehensive care for the children.
Conduct regular meetings with children & young people caregivers and professionals in a variety of settings homes community spaces professional offices.
Maintain detailed accurate and timely documentation to ensure safety and provide effective tracking and reporting.
Provide oncall coverage assisting families through crisis intervention transportation.
Location and Travel Requirements:
This position is primarily located in McKeesport. All positions are also expected to come to training meetings and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport as scheduled.
The travel required for this position is frequent.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
Bachelors degree preferred HS diploma/GED required related experience & lived experience may be accepted.
Valid PA drivers license vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
Requires frequent travel throughout greater Pittsburgh Area including transportation of young people with use of all types of car seats.
21 years of age or older.
Physical stating fit and able to work with children along with free of all communicable diseases.
Requires working varied hours including evenings or weekends.
