We are currently seeking a Weekday Shift Shop QA/QC Inspector in our fabrication shop in SE 8700 Venture Ave SE not transitaccessible).

- Ability to review numerous types of documentation for errors discrepancies and missing information

- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
Accountabilities:
- Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
- Have 2 years previous Quality Control experience
- Have CSTS09/2020 ticket or Common Safety Orientation ticket
- Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
- Show a proven commitment to Safety
- Have the ability to use tools and equipment safely
- Commitment to safety and adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
- Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
- Record welders symbols heat numbers and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
- Prepare documentation for and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
- Install name plates coordinate inspections with ABSA NDE Contractors and Client TPIs
- Complete Quality Control paperwork
- Be able to work in a manufacturing facility with other trades present
- Have the ability to perform outside/inside work sometimes in inclimate weather conditions
- Meet the physical demands of the position
- Be able to lift up to 60lbs work at heights be agile and able to go on/off equipment up/down ladders
- Experience in welding and ASME equipment and piping is an asse
