Job Description
Our client is a mobility technology company and they are looking to employ a Vehicle Inspection Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough vehicle inspections performing routine maintenance and supporting drivers with technical assistance and guidance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics: Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and operational standards diagnose mechanical issues and report defects for resolution.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure vehicles meet legal and industry standards assist in regulatory inspections and ensure roadworthiness.
- Driver Support & Training: Provide technical support guide drivers on proper vehicle operation and conduct training on routine checks and safe driving practices.
- Fleet Management Support: Collaborate to schedule maintenance minimize downtime and monitor vehicle performance to predict failures.
- Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Track inventory manage spare parts and ensure timely procurement to avoid repair delays.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including mechanical electrical and hydraulic components.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with drivers and management.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Organizational skills for managing maintenance schedules and records.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Technology or a related field.
