Job Description
Job Title: Deputy Manager
Location: Chorley
Salary: 17 per hour 37.5 hours per week)
Working Hours: Rolling rota 6 to 8 sleeps per month
Hourly Rate: 17 per hour
Number of Sleeps Required: 6 to 8 per month
Pay Per Sleep: 60 per sleep
Total TakeHome Salary: Up to 40110 (including attendance bonus)
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs with EBD
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
Experience in Years Required: Experience as a Deputy Manager Assistant Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker in a childrens residential care setting

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Manager who is eager to support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This role would be ideal for an Assistant Manager Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker looking for career progression.

Your Role During a Childs Time with Us...
As the Deputy Manager you will be a key part of an experienced and professional team working to provide highquality residential care education and therapy. Supported by a Registered Manager and Head of Care you will:
- Coach mentor and supervise a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers
- Ensure childrens placement plans are effectively communicated and implemented
- Provide leadership and guidance in line with safeguarding and regulatory requirements
Do You Have These Qualities
- Previous experience in a Deputy Assistant Manager or Senior RSW role in residential childcare
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
- Strong understanding of safeguarding children and relevant legislation
- Confident in supervising teams and providing proactive leadership
- Passion resilience and commitment to supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural challenges
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- IT proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
- Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles
