Under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Recruitment the Admissions Representative for Online Programs (Rep) is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the Colleges marketing and recruitment plan to achieve its online enrollment goals. Moreover this position requires an energetic hardworking person with good interpersonal and communication skills. This person will be oncampus and will work closely with prospective students alumni and colleagues to develop and sustain relationships that will help the college achieve its online recruitment goals.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Meet the enrollment goals for online students by executing an annual recruitment plan that will promote the College and attract prospective students. The plan will include fall and spring travel activities special events and college fairs within a welldefined market area to ensure College visibility.
  • Maintain regular contact and/or communication with prospective online students and their families throughout the recruitment process (inquiry through enrollment) and provide accurate and appropriate information about the College personalized for all constituents.
  • Ensure the academic quality motivation and personal character of student recruits meet Westminster standards for those recommended for review and admittance to the College by personally reviewing student academic credentials references and recommendations necessary for assessment prior to review by the Admissions Committee.
  • Provide consultation and expert advice to management team by maintaining accurate records of all recruitment activities for program evaluation and historical preservation.
  • Comply with all institutional policies and standards.
  • Have an outgoing confident personality with a professional attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong selling skills with the ability to overcome objections.
  • Achieve daily weekly and monthly calling volume interview and enrollment goals.
  • Interview applicants through preliminary telephone contact followed by (facetoface) personal interviews to determine motivation interest effort and ability to qualify for various programs.
  • Display heavy telephone & interviewing skills and willingness to make 75100 outbound calls per day.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Recruitment or Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Services.


Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree required a background in education counseling sales or customer service is preferred.

Experience: Entrylevel position. Experience in college admissions sales or related position is preferable but not required.

Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and marketing skills required; must be enthusiastic selfmotivated and selfdisciplined organized flexible and creative; attentive to details; must be computer proficient and possess exceptional telemarketing skills.

Some Evenings and Weekends: Some fairs and recruitment activities fall during the evening or on the weekend. Also there is some overnight travel.
