Job Description
The Indiana University Jacobs School of Music seeks candidates for a fulltime postdoctoral position as collaborative pianist/coach with experience in a broad range of instrumental repertoire (strings woodwinds brass) for the spring 2025 semester and the academic year 202526 (January 1 2025 May 31 2026. Duties will be flexible depending on the candidates interests and areas of expertise. Additionally the position includes performing as collaborative partner with faculty guest artists and students and coaching collaborative projects involving piano students and their assigned partners. In the fall semester 2016 the Jacobs School of Music created a new Chamber and Collaborative Music Department in which the postdoctoral position resides. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the activities in the department.
