We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Vehicle General Assembly to drive the development and implementation of cuttingedge manufacturing processes for our nextgeneration electric vehicles. This role will be pivotal in designing and optimizing highvolume production lines ensuring worldclass quality efficiency and scalability. As a key member of our manufacturing team you will collaborate with crossfunctional groups including engineering design supply chain quality manufacturing and automation vendors to revolutionize EV manufacturing.
- Lead the production line design development and deployment of advanced manufacturing processes and equipment primarily within the final assembly of our vehicles.
- Define and optimize highvolume production methods incorporating automation robotics and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Develop and implement scalable manufacturing solutions from prototype to fullscale production ensuring in process quality efficiency repeatability and costeffectiveness.
- Utilize Six Sigma lean manufacturing and datadriven methodologies to drive continuous process improvement and defect reduction.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to establish robust processes equipment specifications and quality standards.
- Evaluate and integrate cuttingedge manufacturing technologies including AIdriven automation additive manufacturing and advanced material joining techniques.
- Conduct process failure mode and effects analysis PFMEA and develop control plans to mitigate risks and improve reliability.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through material selection process optimization and automation enhancements.
- Support factory design equipment selection and commissioning of current and new production lines.
Who You Are:
- Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- 1015 years of experience in high volume advanced manufacturing process engineering or industrializationpreferably in the EV automotive aerospace or hightech manufacturing sector.
- Technical Expertise:
- Expertise in automated assembly robotics and precision manufacturing techniques for EV components.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred) and process optimization methodologies.
- Experience with CAD/CAM simulation tools and manufacturing systems (MES).
- Familiarity with highvolume production of battery packs powertrains stamping casting or composite structures is a plus.
- ProblemSolving & Leadership:
- Proven ability to lead largescale industrialization projects from concept to mass production.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a handson approach to troubleshooting manufacturing challenges.
- Excellent crossfunctional collaboration and communication skills.
