Business Acumen: Experienced business professional who understands the full scope of managing the complete operations of a large business unit.
What You will Need...
- Minimum of five years experience in utility vegetation management at least two of which include positions as a Supervisor or Area Manager or have related experience.
- Have a degree in a business related field or forestry. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree on a casebycase basis.
- ISA Certified Arborist preferred not required.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to read comprehend and implement appropriate plans and actions to ensure compliance.
- Ability to coordinate direct supervise and evaluate management personnel including a team of up to but not limited to 500 employees.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with an aptitude in decisionmaking and problemsolving.
- Ability to read and interpret necessary reports and financial statements including but not limited to profit and loss (P&L) statements and job costing reports.
- Have a valid drivers
- Willing and able to work extended
- Able and willing to travel by air or
- Must have the ability to operate a personal computer and work with applicable computer software programs.
- Ability to read write and understand English
- Work with computers/technology
- Lift under 50; repetitive and set motions (keystroking sitting at length)
What You Will Do...
- Be responsible and accountable for a large strategic business unit of Lewis.
- Collaborate with other Lewis departments to streamline processes and improve overall performance.
- Develop your direct and indirect subordinates.
- Smartly and strategically grow your business yearoveryear.
- Consult with the Human Resources department on employing dismissing disciplining developing and promoting personnel.
- Develop foster and improve customer relationships driving the Lewis customer experience.
- Develop and foster relationships that ensure high employee morale.
- Improve and maintain the divisional safety performance. Drive the safety culture of the division through leadership engagement action and accountability.
- Participate in trade associations and organizations involved in vegetation management Market appropriate vegetation management services to utilities in conjunction with the regional vice president.
- Maintain open lines of communication and a good working relationship with all members of the Operational Management Group.
- Promote the reputation of Lewis Services as a Brand Ambassador to all internal and external personnel.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to indoor and has some exposure to an outdoor environment. The noise level in the work environment is most often moderate but sometimes loud.

Salary range: $120000 $140000 with performancebased bonus structure.
