Cordia Resources is seeking a detailoriented and proactiveAccountant. The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the organizations financial operations including monthend reconciliations payroll processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. This position is essential to maintaining accurate financial records that support our mission and operations.
Key Responsibilities Perform monthend bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist with processing payroll and maintaining payroll records usingADP Workforce Now(preferred). Manage accounts payable (AP) ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and tracking outstanding liabilities. Oversee accounts receivable (AR) including invoicing monitoring payments and reconciling donor or grant income. Maintain and update financial records inQuickBooks(experience preferred). Collaborate with the team to support annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Assist with financial reporting budget tracking and other accountingrelated tasks as needed.
Qualifications Education:Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience:2 years of accounting experience preferably in a nonprofit setting. Proficiency withQuickBooksandADP Workforce Now(or similar payroll systems) is a plus. Strong knowledge of standard accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
