partner staffing on behalfof our Client we areseeking a motivated Electrical EngineerinTraining (EIT) to join our growingDistribution Utilities team based in our Calgary office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to workon a wide range of power distribution projects including design analysis andproject management for residential commercial and industrial developments.

As anEIT you will collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to deliverreliable and sustainable electrical solutions for utility clients.



Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assistin the design and development of overhead and underground electricaldistribution systems 4kV25kV).
  • Conductload flow analysis voltage drop calculations and fault current studies.
  • Preparesingleline diagrams (SLDs) construction packages and bill of materials.
  • Supportthe preparation of project documentation including technical reports anddesign drawings.
  • Coordinatewith utility companies municipalities and other stakeholders to ensurecompliance with standards and regulations.
  • Performsite inspections field surveys and asbuilt documentation as required.
  • Contributeto improving processes safety and quality standards within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • EngineerinTraining (EIT) designation with a provincial engineeringassociation (e.g. APEGA EGBC).
  • Familiaritywith utility standards CSA IEEE or similar codes.
  • Experiencewith AutoCAD MicroStation or similar design software.
  • Basicknowledge of power system analysis tools (e.g. CYME ETAP).
  • Stronganalytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellentcommunication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledgeof utility protection schemes and SCADA systems.
  • Understandingof renewable energy integration and distributed generation.
