Posting Summary
Provide generalized and specialized custodial project cleaning services to university buildings on a daily basis for university facilities in a team setting. Project locations and tasks vary. Assist with coordinating work for the project team with direction from senior management and functional supervision from. Respond to emergencies in Custodial Units as needed. Serve as a lead worker and perform custodial services as assigned; secure assigned buildings; respond to special cleaning and setup requests; schedule work activities to meet set priorities and unexpected cleanups while adhering to scheduling needs. Provide functional supervision including training verifying attendance coordinating coverage for absent workers and special setup activities review work report performance deficiencies to the appropriate Maintenance Unit Supervisor and report building maintenance needs to SOS . Access information utilizing desktop applications. May operate University vehicle. Promote a culture of service excellence that encourages safety first as well as actively engaging in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion environmental sustainability and deliver a great customer experience.
