Job Summary:The Recreation Assistant provides assistance with customer service event management teaching and general patron issues.
Additional Department Summary:Provides customer service. Sets up and takes down for special events. Opens and closes the facilities. Maintains knowledge of policies procedures and membership information. Handles monetary transactions with limited supervision. Serves as a lifeguard and assists in the recruitment and training of student lifeguards.
Required Minimum Qualifications:High schoold diploma or GED and some recreation program customer service and/or patron relations experience. Student or Graduate Assistant Intern or studentoriented experience will be considered. To be considered student experience it must be detailed in the employment section on the application.
