Overall Purpose:

As our Talent Acquisition Manager youll lead the charge in attracting hiring and retaining top talent that will enable Lula to succeed now and in the future.

In this role youll own our talent acquisition strategy ensuring it aligns with our culture ambitious growth plans and positions Lula as an employer of choice. Youll lead and inspire a highperforming recruitment team optimise hiring processes champion an exceptional candidate experience and partner with management to ensure we hire the right people in the right roles.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of talent acquisition professionals providing coaching and guidance to ensure high performance and alignment with business needs.
  • Build valuable relationships with head of departments to understand their hiring needs and facilitate training sessions to build strong hiring capabilities within the business to ensure managers are equipped to make quality hiring decisions aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and lead the employer brand strategy and roadmap ensuring it positions us as an employer of choice within the FinTech market.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience aligned with our culture from initial contact during the hiring process all the way to the first day in a new role.
  • Continuously track analyse and use datadriven insights to continuously improve employer branding candidate experience and the overall effectiveness of our hiring processes.
  • Contribute towards building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce by leading initiatives that will attract diverse talent.
  • Lead the endtoend recruitment of hardtofill senior and executive level positions when needed.
  • Manage the talent acquisition budget and associated spend on agencies systems job portals or any other hiring related initiatives.
  • Optimise recruitment processes through the implementation of modern technology including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) AIdriven tools and recruitment marketing platforms.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree or diploma in Organisational Psychology Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in a Talent Acquisition leadership role with a preference for highgrowth fastpaced industries.
  • Excellent leadership and teambuilding abilities.
  • Experience working in startup FinTech Financial Services or Tech environment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of South African labour law and compliance requirements.
  • Experience advising and coaching managers on hiring best practices.
  • Experience in leveraging modern recruitment technologies (ATS AI tools) to streamline hiring.

  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills to engage inspire and influence internal and external stakeholders.
