Job Description
HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW
Support the North America Trade Compliance Department for multiple business units for both imports/exports reporting to the Trade Compliance Manager. Will be on site just north of the Frankenmuth MI area. Assistance with relocation to the area if needed.
EXPECTATIONS
Provide hands on support for multiple business units in regard to Trade Compliance
Classification of parts tooling & technology both imports & exports
EAR experience ITAR knowledge
Work with all Government agencies especially CBP Commerce and State Departments
Updating/development of manuals/policies & procedures
Ability to make presentations/training for Trade Compliance to business units
Some travel
ESSENTIALS
Experience working in a Trade Compliance (imports & exports) corporate department
EAR export licensing required ITAR licensing a bonus
Tariff classification & working with government agencies required
Auditing/training experience
Bachelors Degree highly preferred
Customs Brokers License a plus
Microsoft Office experience required
Some travel will be required
