Overview of role of Shop Foreman:
The position ofSubaru Express Shop Manager is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production floor. This position is integral to maintaining highquality standards while adhering to safety protocols. As theExpress Shop Manager you will coordinate resources manage personnel and optimize equipment to effectively meet service repair targets. Responsibilities include:
Distribution of Work Assignments:
- The prime candidate will efficiently allocate tasks and responsibilitiesamong team members to maximize productivity and meet repair goals.
- Prioritizeassignments based on urgency skill levels and workload ensuring smoothworkflow throughout the production floor.
Personnel Supervision and Management:
- Provide effective leadership andguidance to automotive technicians and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative andsupportive work environment offering coaching feedback and motivation toenhance performance and morale.
- Ensure adherence to company policies safetyprotocols and industry regulations.
Oversight of Vehicle Quality Control Processes:
- Implement and oversee stringentquality control measures to uphold the highest vehicle maintenance and repairstandards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits to identify defectsdiscrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Take proactive measures to addressissues promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Valid Drivers license good motor vehicle driving record.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Automotive Technician experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent ASE Certificationpreferred.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; job involves considerable physical activity.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environmentwith the ability to collaborate with others effectively.
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications.
