SUMMARY
The Lidar Quality Engineer provides technical expertise in lidar and ensures final deliverables meet contractual specifications and exceeds customer expectations.
LOCATION: Colorado Springs CO InOffice with Hybrid potential
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES
- Reviews all technical aspects of lidar projects including compliance with quality/specifications.
- Performs complex lidar processing to ensure customer calls are addressed and final products meet expectations.
- Completes data processing and transformations as necessary and performs the final review of lidar files and products as needed prior to delivery.
- Complex review of software for lidar quality control and valueadded services.
- Uses complete understanding of lidar principles and additional complex understanding of all geospatial and remote sensing disciplines to act as a technical expert.
- Reviews 3rd party data and provides documented feedback on issues and areas of concern.
- Follow Sanborns Quality Management System (QMS) to assure quality and provide ISO training to employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
- Bachelors in Geography or related field. Masters degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education requirement.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 years of experience with lidar data.
- Advanced technical expertise in all phases of Lidar.
Salary Range: 65K 85K annual
