Job Description
Takealot South Africas leading online retailer is looking for a highly talentedMarketing Coordinatorto join our team in Cape Town.

This role reports to the Head of TakealotMORE.
Your responsibilities will include:
Administrative support for all TakealotMore Marketing team members including but not limited to:
- Administration of all competitions and prizedraws (including winner selection prize fulfilment and CPA compliance documentation).
- Ad hoc support for all TakealotMore team members in coordination of daily duties and administrative tasks.
- Daily monitoring & trafficking of all inbound TakealotMore enquiries from Zendesk Conversocial & Marketing inbox escalating to relevant team members and responding directly where possible.
- Assist with administrative tasks around broadsheets.
- Send weekly TakealotMore Activity Updates.
- Partnership and sponsorship assistance.
- Creating and management of coupons using the coupon tool.
- Vouchers (request & issue).
- Event coordination and management.
- Prepare marketing reports and presentations by collecting analysing and summarising all applicable data.
- Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the graphics department; inventory stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Assist the Brand team with:
- Competition agreements for Radio ads.
- Sourcing products for TV ads.
- Influencer campaigns
- Assist Traffic Manager with:
- Creating Asana tasks for promos newsletter weekly carousels flyouts.
- Following up on creatives.
- Building and maintaining landing pages
Attributes required:

- Confident with very strong interpersonal & communication skills and a proven ability to build productive relationships quickly

- Motivated selfstarter with a drive for results
Qualifications and experience:
- Relevant Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related
- 12 years experience as a Promotions/Marketing Coordinator or in a similar role
- Internship experience in a Retail / Marketing role desirable
- A strong working knowledge of Excel / Google sheets and Microsoft Office
- Good numerical and analytical skills adept at creating formulae graphs etc.
