We are looking for a proactive and strategic BD professional. In this client facing role you will interact with external and internal clients. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with Canadas leading lawyers on national and global programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development: Develop and implement integrated marketing and business development plans to win new mandates deepen client relationships and enhance crossselling opportunities for assigned groups and clients.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with lawyers to strategize and execute targeted client relationshipbuilding initiatives including client events leveraging market trends and intelligence to drive business opportunities.
Pursuits: Support the preparation of pitches and proposals including providing strategic advice to ensure compelling and competitive submissions.
Profile Development: Support lawyers in building their profiles through thought leadership sponsorships and award submissions.
Credentials and Expertise:
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in business marketing communications or related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience ideally within a large professional services organization.
Skills and Traits: Strong business writing skills strategic thinker and organized multitasker with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and strive for excellence would be required for this key role.
