Job Description
Kott is accepting applications from 2nd/3rd year advanced degree students for the 202526 academic year through May 31 2025. Kott Scholars receive a $10000 scholarship deepened exposure to the field of aging opportunities for interdisciplinary peertopeer learning and support. Scholars are required to complete a 600hour internship and Macro Project of their choosing.

The Kott Gerontology Scholars Program (KGSP) focuses on building cohorts of highly trained enthused professionals to strengthen the field of aging. Kott Scholars have the unique opportunity to gain handson experience working with and/or on behalf of older adults within their Internship Sites (i.e. Host Agencies). Students are encouraged to secure their internships prior to or during the KGSP application process. KGSP will happily assist with internship placements as needed. Kott Scholars receive a $10000 scholarship paid in two installments as well as deepened exposure to the field through monthly meetings with guest speakers 600hour internships and completion of a macro project. Scholars contribute to and benefit from being part of an interdisciplinary cohort of advanced degree students from programs such as Social Work Law Art Therapy NonProfit Management Public Health and others providing peertopeer learning and support.
