Job Description:
We areseeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Sales Manager to lead and managesales operations effectively while driving business growth. The ideal candidatewill have experience in government and institutional sales a proven trackrecord of exceeding sales targets and the ability to build strong relationshipswith distributors dealers and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Independently manage and exceed sales targets through structured and strategic sales planning.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the companys customer base.
- Government Sales & Tender Management:
- Handle endtoend government sales including tendering and procurement processes via the GeM portal.
- Stay updated with government regulations and tendering protocols to ensure compliance.
- Client & Channel Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors dealers and corporate clients to foster loyalty and sales growth.
- Oversee channel sales operations and implement effective strategies to drive partner engagement.
- Account Management:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management and exceptional service.
- Address client concerns promptly and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Institutional & Corporate Sales:
- Execute sales strategies targeting institutional and corporate clients to secure highvalue deals.
- Develop proposals negotiate contracts and close sales effectively.
- Market Analysis & Sales Reporting:
- Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs competitor activities and emerging trends.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts reports and presentations for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 5 years in sales with a focus on government institutional and corporate sales.
- Proven experience with tendering processes and procurement via the GeM portal.
- Strong knowledge of channel sales strategies and account management.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market analysis and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in industries dealing with government procurement or institutional sales.
- Understanding of the local market and customer behavior.
