Opportunity with Philadelphia VA Medical Center
Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Interventional Radiology
The position is that of a radiologic technologist who has training in Interventional Angiography and/or Cardiac Catheterization.
Responsibilities include:
Performs special procedure radiographic exams for the patients of this medical center. Examinations include but are not limited to; visceral and peripheral angiography venograms arteriograms drainages biopsies and tube placements.
Maintains records files and schedules exams performed on patients. Maintains record of implantable devices. Edits and when necessary registers patients in the computerized Radiology Information System (RIS) Vista as well as the work list management portion of the HISRIS interface.
