Job Description

Title I After the BellTutor

POSITION TITLE:

Title I After the Bell Tutor

Saint Adalberts School

Hourly rate: $40.00/hour

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Reports to: Building Principal Director of Title I

After School Only

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Title I Academic Tutor works directly with identified Title I students that are failing or at risk of failing providing intervention support in reading language arts and math for the after school tutoring program

Minimum Qualifications:

Two 2 years of effective classroom teaching experience
Thorough and complete knowledge of Indiana Academic Math and Reading/Language Arts Standards
Proven leadership ability
An explicit understanding of effective Math and Reading/Language Arts curriculum and instructional practices
Appropriate Licensing to teach K8 HQ
