The South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) provides reliable efficient and innovative admissions services to tertiary education institutions in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Our Customer Engagement and Success team handle assessment and admissions services for domestic and international applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate university courses TAFE SA courses and university equity scholarships.
Working under general direction our Casual Assessment Officers process applications verifying documents and other records and ensuring accurate data entry. Assessment Officers will be initially trained in either the Undergraduate Postgraduate or TAFE service. As they gain experience Assessment Officers may be trained in other services to accommodate varying assessment workloads in the Customer Engagement and Success team.
Utilising welldeveloped analytical skills and strong attention to detail our Assessment Officers are trained in SATACs complex inhouse assessment software in order to perform daytoday tasks.
Casual hours will vary according to demand with peak periods being from August to February. Pleasenote that these months are SATACs busiest time of year and therefore these roles are not suitable for anyone with leave requirements during this time.
We are seeking candidates who have at least 0.5 FTE availability across Monday to Friday. While shifts may vary preference will be given to applicants with availability in line with these times.
