Reports to: Business Manager & Campus Maintenance Specialist
Summary
This employee performs a variety of general custodial & maintenance duties for all parish facilities in a professional manner that assures safety efficiency and procedures followed. The Custodian fulfills the mission by maintaining a neat clean safe and organized environment. The Custodian assists the staff by ensuring that organization is well maintained for its purpose. The Custodian has decision making responsibilities within essential job functions in keeping with organizational policies.
Essential Job Functions
Clean and remove trash from all areas of the Church including the Sanctuary Family Room Adoration Chapel Sacristy etc.;
reorganize the pews and missalettes after each Mass Funeral Wedding etc.; restock supplies in the restrooms. Clean all areas of the Parish Hall (Madonna Room) after events are held. This includes sweeping mopping removing trash and restock restrooms. Prepare the room for the next event or reset to standard setup; this includes moving tables chairs and meeting equipment storing tables and chairs as needed.

Position is parttime with hours dependent on the number of liturgies or other
events scheduled on a particular weekend. Regular hours are Friday and
Monday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday hours are: 7:30 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m.; Saturday hours vary and are as needed depending on the number of liturgies or other events scheduled. Approximately 25 hours per week total.
