DO NOT APPLY THROUGH SCHOOLSPRING Please kindly contact Janette Warner atx103 or for access to the necessary registration packet and instructionsWe have a National Blue Ribbon school and two state commended schools small classes a wonderful culture and a beautiful island!Rates: Teachers: $125/dayTeacher Assistants: $105/daySubstitute Teaching:A DEGREE IN ANY MAJOR OR TEACHER CERTIFICATION QUALIFIES YOU TO SUBSTITUTE TEACH.Update: as of 9/2020 RI Department of Education is also allowing day to day subs withAn associates degree from a regionally accredited college or university; or a minimum of two years college completion on track to a four year degree.Substitute Teacher Assistant:You are eligible to substitute as a Teacher Assistant if you 1 Have a minimum of 2 years of college or2 Have a high school diploma/GED and a Certificate of Completion of an approved RI Dept. of Education Teacher Assistant Training Program(the training may be waived by the superintendent based on previous experience working with children)You will need a letter from us to take to your police station to obtain a fingerprint background check.
