Your future duties and responsibilities:
Analyze multicloud usage patterns and spending trends. This includes close collaboration with teams to ensure best practices are shared and adopted.
Design cost dashboards and reporting solutions. This includes close collaboration with teams to ensure best practices are shared and adopted.
Establish tagging standards budget alerts and governance policies. This includes close collaboration with teams to ensure best practices are shared and adopted.
Educate teams on financial accountability in cloud environments. This includes close collaboration with teams to ensure best practices are shared and adopted.
Collaborate with architecture DevOps and finance teams to drive efficiency. This includes close collaboration with teams to ensure best practices are shared and adopted.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
3 years in FinOps cloud cost optimization or cloud financial management. A commitment to continuous improvement and a drive to stay at the forefront of industry trends is essential.
Experience with AWS Cost Explorer Azure Cost Management or GCP Billing. A commitment to continuous improvement and a drive to stay at the forefront of industry trends is essential.
Familiarity with tools like CloudHealth CloudCheckr or native dashboards. A commitment to continuous improvement and a drive to stay at the forefront of industry trends is essential.
Fluent in French and English. A commitment to continuous improvement and a drive to stay at the forefront of industry trends is essential.
Strong analytical visualization and stakeholder communication skills. A commitment to continuous improvement and a drive to stay at the forefront of industry trends is essential.
Proficiency with the following or similar technologies is required or strongly preferred:
Cloud cost management and billing analysis tools (e.g. Cost Explorer Azure Cost Management Apptio Flexera Tangoe)
Cloud optimization and governance platforms (e.g. CloudHealth CloudCheckr)
Visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
Scripting and automation for financial operations (e.g. Python SQL)
Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for financial analysis.
Understanding of chargeback/showback models and enterprise billing management.
Experience supporting business cases for cloud migrations or optimizations.
Handson with scripting languages (Python SQL) for cost reporting automation.
