Job Posting: Call Center Agent (FullTime)
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Call Center Agent to join our customeroriented team. The agent will respond to routine telephone inquiries following standard scripts and procedures in a fastpaced call center environment. The role involves performing routine tasks that require a working knowledge of the clients services.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $18 $19.80 for bilingual candidates)
- Eligible for ActivityBased Compensation after 8 weeks (details provided upon hiring)
Training Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 10:30 AM 5:00 PM CST for two weeks
- Training duration: Typically 2 to 6 weeks (potential extension by an additional 2 weeks if needed)
Work Schedule:
Candidates must be available for the following hours (one Saturday per month required):
- Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM CST
- Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST
- Saturday: 9:00 AM 12:00 PM CST
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone inquiries and customer concerns using standard scripts and procedures.
- Utilize multiple computer applications to gather information and resolve customer issues.
- Provide timely and appropriate resolution options to callers.
- Escalate nonroutine inquiries to senior call center representatives as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist in training and guiding newly hired staff as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management and attendance commitment.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency with PCs related software and strong keyboarding skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to follow guidelines and direction effectively.
