Position Summary:
The FWS Business Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Operational Excellence Office at MIU. This position focuses on optimizing university operations by analyzing data creating process maps and developing recommendations to enhance efficiency. Through handson projects the Business Analyst will help foster a culture of continuous improvement at MIU while gaining valuable experience in business analysis and process optimization.

This position is ideal for students interested in business analysis operations management and process improvement. It is particularly suited for those studying Business Administration Data Science Computer Science Management Engineering or IT and those pursuing career paths in project management consulting or data analytics.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with university teams to implement and monitor efficiency initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with or willingness to learn project management and analytics tools (e.g. Asana Power BI Excel).
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills to effectively share insights and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to document findings clearly and maintain organized records.
