Job Description

Job Summary
This position assists the Financial Aid front office with various customer service and office tasks. This position ranges from 1529 hours during the summer and 512 hours per week during fall and spring semesters depending on class schedule. First day of employment is Thursday May 15th or later. Shifts are scheduled during office hours in at least 2 hours increments Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Exceptions can be made in certain circumstances. Summer 2025 shifts will be a maximum of 29 hours per week. Fall 2025 and spring 2026 hours to be determined after registration for those terms pending approval from the Financial Aid Coordinator. Work is completed in Waldschmidt Hall reporting to the Financial Aid Coordinator. Students with summer availability are highly encouraged to apply. Pay is $15.95/hour. In your letter include your preferred number of work hours per week for summer 2025 and all shifts you are willing and available to work. This information gives our office an idea of your preferences and is not a guarantee or commitment to a schedule. Please communicate your availability with a list of the days of the week with the hours you are available next to each day. For example I would like to work a total of 15 hours per week and I am available Mondays 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m.; Mondays 2:00 p.m. 4:30 p.m.; Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m.; Fridays 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m. If you are selected as a hire weekly schedules will be mutually agreed upon.

Minimum Qualifications
Willing to learn financial aid policies and procedures Communicate well verbally and in writing with special attention to phone and email etiquette Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism Able to follow directions and pay close attention to detail Outgoing and positive attitude while talking with students and parents in a professional manner. Computer experience with internet email Word and Excel Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. Commit to 5 hours per week for fall 2024 and spring 2025
