Job Description

Office Administrative Support
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking a motivated and detailoriented Office Administrative Support professional to provide critical administrative assistance to senior leadership including the Division Chief Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief of Business Operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring alignment with the DHAs mission and goals. The DHA is dedicated to improving health and building readiness making extraordinary outcomes routine. In this role you will contribute to the efficiency of our operations helping drive the modernization of medical readiness enhancing healthcare delivery and supporting the agencys mission to provide optimal combat support and care for beneficiaries and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain appointment calendar for the Division Chief Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Business Operations Chief.
  • Maintain official files in accordance with DHA records management guidance
  • Assist in coordinating agenda of senior management team meetings offsites staff meetings.
  • Provide executive administrative support for the leadership including but not limited to Division Chief Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Business Operations.
  • Maintain track and evaluate all DHA official taskers and correspondence using Government furnished tools.
  • Provide office correspondence and documentation support.


REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Required 35 years experience supporting executives in an Executive Assistant capacity.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management
  • Strong customer service organizational and interpersonal skills; problem solving and analytical abilities; and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook) SharePoint
  • Proficiency with Defense Travel System and the Joint Travel Regulations.



REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in any related field.

  • 40 hours a week 8 hours a day

Other Considerations: applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individuals primary workstation is in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80 of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC copier fax telephone cell phone etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead bend and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 80 of the time.
