Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is thrilled to welcome a compassionate and skilled Mammography Tech to our unit in Fortuna CA. As a crucial member of our team you will ensure the safe effective and efficient care of our patients. Specializing in imaging technologies for diagnosing and tracking breast diseases the Mammography Tech will play a pivotal role in the early detection of breast cancer and other breastrelated disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations using specialized medical imaging equipment
• Prepare and position patients for mammograms
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff
• Ensure images are clear and of good quality adjusting equipment as necessary
• Interpret images and the ability to differentiate between normal and abnormal findings
• Document patient history including any relevant information which might influence the interpretation of the mammogram
• Maintain patient records reports and files as required by healthcare facilities
• Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals regarding patient findings
• Maintain and clean mammography equipment and report any technical issues to appropriate personnel

Requirements

• Experience: 2year experience required.
• Firsttime Travelers: Yes
• Certifications/License: Valid CA License in hand
• Charting: EPIC
• OnCall: No
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• COVID & FLU: Required Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
