Job Description

Account Manager Permian Basin

Summary

Axip Energy Services is a provider of natural gas compression services to the upstream and midstream customers with a fleet of over 500000 horsepower and operations in all major US basins. Axip has designed its business offering in order to be an essential service provider to the leading domestic oil producers in the US. Axip uses our longstanding industry leadership in digitization automation and electricdrive compression to optimize compressor performance and facility throughput while minimizing the risk and carbon intensity of oil and gas production.

The Account Manager is responsible for the creation and of a sales plan and achieving sales in line with the growth and profit targets in the targeted Basins. The expectation is to deliver highquality profitable growth and entrenchment with target customers based upon Axips differentiators and service capabilities.

The successful candidate is a dynamic driven individual with the ability to work independently to meet team objectives and a deep curiosity and passion for delivering a bestinclass customer experience. It is essential that the Account Manager possesses both sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the management level as well as with facility and operations engineers. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the current customer priorities and technical challenges and to convey compelling technical solutions to them.

This position reports to the VP Sales & Business Development with a primary focus on large independents and private operators in the Permian Basin. This position will be based in Midland TX working remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high potential prospects and channel partners upholding the Axip value proposition and communicating through presentations and marketing materials.
  • Maintain a consultative relationship with the customer base to ensure renewal of contracts as they come due during the year.
  • Use customer and internal stakeholder feedback to optimize business processes to create a bestinclass customer experience.
  • Leading with the support of Axip operations team members and technical SMEs performance and technical discussions and getting to resolutions that comply with contractual agreements solve problems and leave Axip and our customers positioned for growth and success.
  • Identify opportunities to create collaborative cobranded materials with customers such as white papers case studies and industry journal articles.
  • The Account Managers performance will be subject to certain key performance metrics which will be determined by the VP Sales and Account Management as appropriate.
  • Make informed judgments of value to the customer for developing pricing proposals regarding highly customized products for which easy benchmarks are often unavailable. Negotiate other terms and conditions.
  • Participate in forecasting billing and contractual discussions to ensure business feedback is appropriately reflected in billing and financial models.
  • Responsible for following up with customer on past due invoices and aiding accounts payable in collections to help customer base remain current. Responsible for follow up to conclusion of disputed invoices.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of key competitors offering and leverageAxips strengths.
  • Maintain integrity of Axip image philosophy and methods in all communications.

Education/Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 years experience in the oil and gas services industry with primary focus in compression or artificial lift
  • Knowledge of technical specifications and equipment design.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency with ability to develop clientready presentations in Power Point and conduct basic database tasks in Excel.
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent organization / time management skills.

Physical Demands

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts high precarious places fumes and airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is exposed to outdoor weather conditions extreme heat risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is reasonable.
