Job Summary Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and fostering a vibrant Greek community The University of Tulsa is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life. In this pivotal role you will provide leadership and support to 16 nationally recognized Greekletter organizations representing 20 of our student body. With a rich history of 94 years on campus our fraternity and sorority members consistently achieve higher GPAs retention rates and career outcomes while making a significant impact through philanthropic efforts. Join us in creating an inclusive environment that values diverse experiences ideas and perspectives. Essential Functions (Responsibilities) Advisory Role : Act as an advisor to all peer governing councils and fraternity and sorority chapters in coordination with Student Services staff and volunteer leaders. These include the Interfraternity Council IFC National PanHellenic Council NPHC and National Panhellenic Council NPC . Program Development : Develop and manage Fraternity and Sorority Life programming and initiatives including training development programs and events. Marketing & Communication : Oversee all marketing and communication efforts related to fraternity and sorority recruitment and retention collaborating with the Offices of Admission Marketing and Communication and New Student Programs. Policy Implementation : Develop and implement university policies for Greekletter organizations and create strategic initiatives to grow and strengthen the TU Greek community. Manage and support all recruitment periods. Leadership & Crisis Management : Provide leadership in addressing fraternity and sorority issues and manage crises working closely with campus partners such as the Office of the President Campus Security Title IX Counseling and Psychological Services Student Rights and Responsibility fraternity and sorority national headquarters and alumni. Liaison Role : Serve as a liaison between campus and external partners students alumni and other stakeholders. Administrative Support : Handle administrative functions including preparing budgets statistical reporting maintaining records and assessing the overall health of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Supervision : Supervise Graduate Assistants and workstudy employees. Other Duties : Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skill/Ability Creative problem solver Strategic thinker with a clear vision of end goals Thought partner Relationship builder and coalition developer Experience with Divine 9 organizations Familiarity with collegiate environments and student activities Comfortable in a Student Facing Role Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree with 2 years of professional experience in sorority and fraternity life or a completed masters degree in a relevant field. Understanding of new member recruitment hazing prevention crisis management and program development. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to lead and mentor a diverse group of volunteers. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize under deadlines. Capacity to manage multiple projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn university systems. Availability for some evening and weekend work.

Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift at least 15lbs routinely. Must be able to navigate an office setting.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree; 5 years professional experience in sorority and fraternity life; experience with ICS (OmegaFi) Campus Recruitment Software
