Summary:
Genesys is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Application Developer to join our Enterprise Integrations team. The associate will play a crucial role in analyzing designing and implementing large complex integration solutions across various business systems using AWS services. This position requires a good understanding of AWS architecture and services technical acumen and the ability to contribute as individual contributor in large complex projects and providing technical coaching for employees/teams in their technical area.
Responsibilities
Design and Develop Integrations:
- Support the design and implementation of realtime and batch integrations using AWS services such as AWS Lambda API Gateway S3 SNS SQS and others.
- Assist senior developers by providing technical support and troubleshooting issues.
- Contribute to the Agile sprint objectives in the capacity of an individual contributor.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and assist in translating them into technical specifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project
Performance Monitoring and Application Support
- Monitor the performance of integrations and report any issues
- Rectify any such issues reported on live integrations.
- Implement best practices for performance tuning and resource optimization.
Documentation
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for integrations processes and best practices.
- Share knowledge and insights with team members to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related field.
- Experience:
- 46 years of experience of similar role.
- Experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using AWS services.
- Good understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AWS services such as AWS Lambda API Gateway S3 SNS SQS etc.
- Experience with RESTful APIs SOAP and other web services.
- Knowledge of data mapping ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
