Job Description
Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Supervisor Patient Transport Services position is to supervise and monitor all dispatch functions using the EPIC Transport Module to ensure that service levels are met/exceeded for the transport of patients at University Hospital DOC ACC and Cancer Center. Acts as the facilitator for 5 Star Services training.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree plus three 3 years of relevant experience in customer service or support services preferably in a healthcare setting.
- At least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in supervising subordinate staff including selection orientation training timely job evaluations time and attendance documentation and disciplinary actions if necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff performance levels in productivity and evaluate staff performance standards.
- Applicants may substitute additional related experience for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
- Be a proactive selfstarter with initiative selfdiscipline confidence and assertiveness to lead encourage and enable team dynamics.
- Possess the skill to achieve positive outcomes by working through others.
- Ability to positively influence people act as a catalyst for progress and make a decisive impact.
- Instill confidence and trust and act as a coach and mentor to staff members.
