Job Description
About the Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses 8 years of related experience selling architecture engineering and construction management services in the Pharmaceutical industry and wants to grow collaborate and innovate. In this position the successful candidate will generate new business from Pharmaceutical manufacturing clients across the United States. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent selfstarter.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field and 8 years of related sales experience
- Experience in Pharmaceutical production or A/E/CM serving the Pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Ability to work well within a team environment positive attitude multitask and be selfmotivated to produce highquality work. Executive communication skills are key as the successful candidate will work with significant autonomy and must be able to keep leadership updated on pursuit strategy status and fiscal performance
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally. It is important for the successful candidate to understand all of the services and technical expertise Pond can offer and be able to package and communicate those offerings to prospective clients
- Entrepreneurial mindset to analyze the market and grow the business
- Utilize knowledge of the current landscape to prioritize opportunities
- A proven track record of meeting sales quotas
- Travel is required as needed to interface with prospective clients
- Working remotely is possible but will require additional travel to Ponds offices to coordinate with the Engineering and Management teams
