Pay Rate:$15.87/hour
Available Shifts: Flexible parttime schedule including some long shifts nights weekends and holidays.
MUST be available to work 95 of theSyracuse Crunch schedule.
THE ROLE
As a Suite Barback at The Oncenter you should have knowledge of bar supplies and inventory and will be responsible for ensuring bars and bar service areas are maintained replenished and clean at all times.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Provide total guest satisfaction through skilled and capable service in accordance with New York State laws and regulations as well as Company policies practices and procedures.
- Complete tasks related to stocking replenishing cleaning maintenance and preparation of beverages.
- Move and assemble portable bars.
- Set up and breakdown point of sales systems cash drawers and printers.
- Maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses cups napkins drink supplies ice condiments etc. Prepare food items needed in the preparation of drinks.
- Clean and polish bar counters shelves and equipment.
- Comply with inventory control measures.
- Return all product and equipment to proper storage location.
- Remove all trash and recyclables from bar areas and dispose of properly.
- Maintain a safe clean organized and stocked work area following sanitation standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and professional relationship with coworkers at all times.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 12 years experience in food and/or bar service.
SKILLS YOULL NEED
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional hospitality and customer service skills service standards guest relations and etiquette.
- Ability to make professional independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
- ServSafe & TIPS certification a plus.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have the physical ability to maneuver around the venue at times walking and/or standing for 810 hours or greater climbing stairs lifting and carrying 75 lbs and frequent bending reaching kneeling and squatting.
- Ability to work in a noisy fastpaced environment.
